Our Beliefs
What we believe shapes how we worship, how we live and how we serve.
GOREM accepts the Scriptures as its authority in matters of faith and practice and believes the Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
We believe in one true and living God who is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and immutable.
We believe in the triune God — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — three persons in one Godhead, equal in power, glory and eternity.
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience and therefore needs restoration.
We believe in personal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and the calling of every believer to godliness within families and society.
We believe the Church is responsible to preach the Gospel, evangelize and make disciples of all nations.
We believe in caring for orphans, widows, elderly people and the needy through practical expressions of Christ's love.
GOREM believes in divine healing and deliverance as an integral part of the Gospel.
We believe in baptism by immersion for those who have personally believed in Jesus Christ.
We honor and uphold marriage as instituted by God, and teach it faithfully and respectfully according to the Word of God.
